Inter Striker Adriano Learns That 'Loan' Translates To 'You Suck'

Adriano.jpg

The translation of ‘loan’ usually means that a team doesn’t expect a player’s services to enhance their title chances. So when Inter Milan and Brazilian national team striker Adriano was linked to a move, it clearly underlined one thing: he’s playing like a fat-tard. Here’s an ultimatum for Adriano, brought to him by his President Massimo Moratti:
He has two choices in front of him. Do really well with us or do really well on loan and return to us as the formidable centre forward that we know.
Now that’s a memo you never want to receive. This sort of scrutiny depletes Adriano’s status as “fierce-striker” and puts him in a kennel with one-eyed dogs that chase their own tales. Adriano rebuttled:
I don’t want to go on loan again. I already went once to Parma when it was right for my career. Now if I must really leave, I’ll go and that’s it. What I and my agent don’t understand is why they did not tell me immediately at the start of the summer that I had not re-entered their plans.
The other blow? They want to toss Adriano to Sven Goren-Erikson’s Manchester City side that is off to a good start, but will probably stumble and crumble like a mansion in Bel-Air during an earthquake.
