Around The World: Bolivians Reminding Latino Boxers, This Is Where It All Came From

The Tinku Festival in Bolivia is all about the brawl…for reasons of prosperity of course. Since our boss man wants us to extract some Latin American sport, what better than to show some Bolivian vatos and rucas throwin’ down for prestige and a prosperous harvest. We can’t help but think that some of the best Latino fighters owe some of their grunt to this inherent, diabolical violence. The “ritual battle” happens around every May, and it is customary for men and women to trade hay-makers all in an effort to splash blood on the ground. Seems bloody and shocking, but some of us here at Machochip rock the mean streets of Los Angeles on a daily basis, and fights between Lil Joker vs. Smiley display some serious similarities. Our verdict? Bolivian boxing, there’s nothing like it.
