British sports mag FourFourTwo conducted an interview with the Ronaldinho and asked him who his top five favorite players in the world were. Ronaldinho named Manchester United star Cristian Ronaldo and AC Milan star and national side teammate Kaká. He rounded off the list with a trio of his own teammates: Thierry Henry, Deco, and Lionel Messi. His omission of Eto’o fed wild-eyed gossip that the honeymoon has past it’s prime between the two stars. So why the snub? Probably because the Cameroon striker was moaning and grunting all last season. Eto’o’s role had been marginalized and now that he’s out of commission due to injury, Ronaldinho felt a nice little bucket of indirect insult would soothe his pain. Or, maybe he just wanted us to get a post out of it. Whatever the case, thanks Ronaldinho. We owe ya.
