Belligerent college students are part of the vast empire that is college sports and if we can’t have drunk frat boys screaming bloody murder towards an opposing team, then what the hell is the point? During this weekends Rutgers vs. Navy game, officials claimed some students decided it was alright to ear-fuck Navy players with obscenities and ‘loutish’ behavior. Well of course. Rutgers president Richard McCormick went as far as to send a letter to Naval academy officials stating:

No student-athlete should ever be subject to profane language directed at them from the crowd, and certainly not the young men of the Naval Academy who have made a commitment to serve our nation in a time of war.

You brought in the war thing? This is college sports. All we want to hear about are tequila shots in parking lots and crazy fans doing the wave. College sports means drunken chicks spraying their tits and frat boys painting school acronyms on their bloated, hairy chests. I’d imagine some whining coming from a team like Pete Carroll’s pussy-fest at USC, but from NAVY guys? It’s a damn shame.
