Bill Belichick has dipped his ego-filled balls into a cauldron of suspicion after it was reported that he sent a spy to steal signs from the New York Jets this weekend. You would think that a star-studded lineup would keep the New England beast from stooping so low, but the spotlight is now glistening off that horrendously large forehead. We’re not here to cheer against the (alleged) bad guy. We’re Machochip and we’re scoundrels as well. What we’re worried about is the fact that the architect of one of football’s supreme teams would fumble on his cheating tactics. Seriously man, this is the NFL. Even goofy baseball professionals get away with cheating now and again. We’re sure those hypocritical elitists at ESPN will write a column upholding all that is holy amidst the pigskin, but MSNBC has already persecuted the New England red-coat.

Sign-stealing has long been a sports pastime, and often it’s seen as crafty gamesmanship to slyly figure out the opponents’ signals. But only the sore-winning, sore-losing Belichick would be as ham-handed as to send a guy with a video recorder to stand on the other team’s sideline.

Maybe the Raiders should try this because nothing else is working for them and the Patriots’ just keep on winning.
