This edition—which will be released just in time for your Navidad-shopping needs—is announced on the heels of this year’s English-version cover boy, Vince Young, being taken down by the legendary “Madden Curse.” Damn, you EA Sports! We’re not ready to live in a world where the number of Latinos in the NFL gets cut to three.

They’re replacing cover athlete Vince Young with Luis Castillo, defensive end for the San Diego Chargers and a native of the Dominican Republic; adding three exclusive music tracks from Spanish-language acts; and “Alvaro Martin, the first Spanish language announcer for ABC Sports’ Monday Night Football, will voice the play-by-play broadcasts.”

So are they going to dub in Martin’s voice for the commercial, or use the one they’ve already got?
