In a perfect world, Diego Maradona wouldn’t have cheated his way to World Cup glory in 1986 and A-Rod would always be a Yankee. A-Rod’s situation is yet to be determined because he wants to rake in more dough. Yet, owner George Steinbrenner is stalling from tapping the Yankee teat for all it’s nourishment because, frankly, Rodriguez’s bat in October is as limp as a drunken sailor. The recent jibe is that A-Rod and his agent, Scott Boras, are trying to play the, “A-Rod brings in tons of revenue through the YES network and I sells more tickets than Micky and the Babe combined,” card. But wait, doesn’t it all come down to October? Tyler Kipner of the New York Times makes it brutally clear:
[…]Could the Yankees survive without him? Of course they could. Rodriguez has never played in the World Series, so obviously there’s some formula out there for winning without him.
Translation: stop feeding A-Rod the teat George. He’s not takin’ ya anywhere.

A-Rod’s camouflage uniform would give him extra cover come October. Because boy does that dude suck during that month.
