Barry Bonds Steroid Woes Coming To A Cable Network Near You

bondstits.jpg

Just in case you hadn’t been ravaged and withered by Barry Bonds’ steroid saga, HBO execs have decided to make a film based on the best-selling book, “Game Of Shadows”, which documents Bonds’ alleged steroid-use. The movie would concentrate on the grand jury testimony that popped the lid on juicers in baseball, simultaneously transforming baseball fans into the moral police.

The book recounts that Bonds allegedly began using steroids in 1999 after becoming jealous of Mark McGwire’s having set baseball’s single-season home run record the previous season.

No word as to who will play Bonds’ in the film, but we envision Will Smith and Denzel Washington scrapping in a ring for the role: like a mock “Hurricane” V “Ali” fight. Wait! Didn’t Wesley Snipes already play Bonds? He probably needs a job right now. Maybe they can get Nick Nolte to play a spiteful Curt Schilling?
