Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is as devout to “Gunners” soccer as Spaniards are to jamón. He was reluctant to the indulge in the major offers from Real Madrid and FC Barcelona last year, and it seems like the latest English tirade against foreigners playing in the Premier League hasn’t swayed the youngster to possibly think about heading home.

“I’m not even thinking about returning to Spain. I don’t even listen to the offers that come in for me because I don’t need anything that I haven’t already got at Arsenal. And it’s nothing to do with money. If it was I would have gone to Real Madrid last summer. I am not moved by money, I am moved by football.”

Not bad for a guy who was in diapers when we were in high school. Fabregas comes off sounding all articulate and shite. Definitely accumulates points his rival won’t ever attain. If England have their way—after they’re pummeled on Saturday—he might have to find another home regardless of his commitment to the “Gunners.”
