Angels owner Arte Moreno is warning baseball fans (and alerting the media) that when MLB’s Mitchell Report comes out naming “people implicit” in steroid abuse, heads will spin. Really? Because unless it’s Derek Jeter or Johan Santana, there won’t be any shock or ‘roid (Report) rage at the MachoChip HQ.
“The names of players will come out that people will be mad about,” Moreno, quoted by The Los Angeles Times in Thursday’s editions, said. “Some of my information is secondhand, but I know there’s going to be names.”
Moreno apparently did not elaborate as to why he felt players, fans, management officials and others would be angered by the identity of any names that come from the report.
Hm, maybe because his outfielder Gary Matthews, Jr., is one of those names. It would make the $90 million contract the Angels gave Tori Hunter-who plays the same centerfield spot as Matthews-make a lot more sense.

When is he going to introduce tamales at the stadium? Chavez Ravine already carries sushi.

Fuck the sushi, he need the all-you-can-eat buffet section. You can get as big as the guy on roids, but with none of those pesky muscles.
