The FIFA World Club Cup Final is set, with Boca Juniors of Argentina scheduled to face Italian giants AC Milan in Japan this weekend (Sunday: the buck-crack of dawn). There’s no question, the bad blood between the two teams is flowing like match-fixing scandals in soccer. Boca Juniors know their work is cut out for them because Kaka’s recently acquired superpowers (manifested by his new Golden Balls trophy) will allow him to score goals at ease from fifty yards out. So how do you combat the best soccer-baller of the year?
‘We will look to open them up,’ Russo said. ‘It’s not only about Kaka. Milan will have to stop (Martin) Palermo and (Rodrigo) Palacio.’
By taunting them like a spoiled rich kid? That’s lame. But the whole “opening them up” bit sounds gruesome, so we’re hoping for something good. Actually, just let Riquelme and Kaka go at from midfield a la’ hockey steelo penalty. Wait, didn’t the MLS do that shiz in the 70’s?

Is that old fart Maldini playing in this?

Maldini plays bench, he did come in as a sub in their semifinal game.

That guy has been playing for ages. Kind of pisses me off that Zidane isn’t playing anymore, but Maldini is still keeping. I want to have Maldini’s hair. At least for a day. What? Nothing.
