The name Manny Pacquiao is a symbol of destruction to Mexican boxers. That’s because Pacquiao has single-handedly defeated every top ranked Mexican fighter in his division. Pacquiao could probably demolish Oscar De La Hoya too if it weren’t for his crazy metabolism restricting him from gaining the necessary weight. So his future Mexican opponent, Juan Manuel Marquez, is vowing, in the spirit of all that is Mexi-can-o, to silence Pacquiao once and for all. And it’s all for the Mexicans, of course.

“This is such a crucial fight for me, my family, the Mexican people and all my fans everywhere…On a scale of one to 10, the rematch with Manny is a 10-plus…I’m going to use a mixture of aggression, counter-punching lateral movement but above all my intelligence as a boxer to defeat Manny,”

Apparently he doesn’t realize Manny Pacquiao’s bones are made from titanium. Fortunately if he loses, his Mexican people won’t be too mad. Oscar De La Hoya has sucked for years, but he just made more Benjamins in one fight than any other boxer ever.
