Baseball officials have been clamoring down on HGH offenders ever since high-profile stars started leaving their dirty laundry around for all to see. Actually, baseball players are senseless when it comes to covering their tracks. Just look at Jose Guillen. He was so blatantly careless about his steroid use he had some of his needles and drugs shipped to the Oakland Colisseum. Now officials are debating on whether to hand him a 10, or 15 day suspension come next year. What’s Guillen got to say? Well, he’s calling us a bunch of liars.
“We told the commissioner’s office my version of this whole affair, which in some ways has been handled with some errors in the media,” Guillen was quoted as saying Tuesday by ESPNdeportes.com when asked about the situation.
What exactly did “they” get wrong: the steroids, the amount of money you spent, or the fact you may go down as “Moron Of The Year” for having your ball-shrinking vitamins shipped to your locker room? We want to get it right, ya know?
