Whas Happened In Sports Last Night

  • Uefa Champions League: Does one suck their thumb more passionately when their opponent is a good, rather than mediocre? Real Madrid 3, Lazio 1. [AFP]
  • NBA: Take note: no Tim Duncan means no wins. Golden State 96, San Antonio 84. [San Jose Mercury News]
  • World Club Cup: We’re halfway to a Boca Juniors/AC Milan. The Argentines slithered to a 1-0 win against Etoile Sportive du Sahel. Kaka, you can snarl now. [Setanta]
  • Uefa Champions League: Where the hell were those “fiery French” last night? Liverpool FC 4, Marseille 0. [The Canadian Press]
  • Scottish Premier League: The Scots had a little fun as well last night as Celtic FC roughed up Falkirk 4-0. Now if they could do that in the Champions League than we wouldn’t say they are shite. [Espn]
  • Uefa Champions League: Yawn. Chelsea 0, Valencia 0. [Uefa]

Whatever, San Antonio is going the whole way and everyone knows it. Except that guy getting drunk in the corner.

and the guy sucking his thumb probably doesn’t know that either.

no tim duncan means no wins? what about dallas last week? and then utah? manu scoring 37 in each game? please!

If you watch the Boca game, I did, Boca did not slither to a victory, they dominated the poor Tunisian team. The Tunisians barely mustered any offence, but played very well on defense. The performace of both teams were a bit poor in the first half, but in the second boca came into its own and conducted the match to their liking. Even with a man down, they kept pushing forward, so I am really not sure what match you were watching or if you were fully awake….or the setanta writer is on crack
