American soccer fans are the pochos of fandom. They’re the early adopting posers that everyone dislikes but themselves. They’ll be all smug when new fans come into the fold who suddenly realize that it’s an awesome game that shouldn’t just be abandoned after AYSO. But, they’ve got the love, and it’s pretty hard to knock the passion. But the expression, oh you just want to throw them to Vice Magazine.
