When David Beckham left Manchester United in 2003, the role of right winger for the Reds’ was an intimidating vacancy. Then came a cocky, Portuguese-born dazzler by the name of Cristiano Ronaldo. Last night, Portsmouth witnessed an assortment of shock-and-awe free kicks from Cristiano—one of which was touted as “a gift from heaven”—and it made us think: Is Cristiano Ronaldo better at free-kicks than David Beckham?
