Most sports products are all hype. We tell you which ones cut through the air.

Reebok will launch their Kool-Aid collection starting February 1, 2008 in certain stores nationwide. New England Patriots’ player Laurence Maroney was the inspiration for the design and we want to say, thank you. The scoop:

Check out Reebok’s newest collection: the Kool-Aid collection! The first installment will launch on February 1st in three great flavors: Grape, Cherry and Strawberry, each complete with hoodies, T-shirts, hats and sneakers. Plus, Reebok packed each of the kicks with extra flavor by crating scent-infused sockliners! [Ed. Note: Totally rad!] This Kool-Aid collection will be available nationwide at the following retailers: Moe’s Snaker Spot Inc.; Lezmir; Peko Sports Inc.; Karmaloop; Sportie LA; City Blue; Shiekh’s; Shoe Mania; and Dr. Jay’s.

Your kids will definitely love them, so start saving your money because we’re sure they aren’t going to come cheap. Though they should because when we were kids, the $10 and under bin are mama bought from always contained LA Gear knock offs that looked exactly like this. Except the Kool-Aid smile was drawn on and the tread wasn’t as fancy. Whatever the case, if you’re dating a hipster, this is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. A gallery for your curiosity.
