Semi-nudey Spanish magazine Interviú has cost some gals their softball gigs in Spain. Female softball players from Club de Béisbol Viladecans in Barcelona have been fired from their team because they decided to shed everything but their mitts (rarrrr) during a photoshoot that was deemed inappropriate by the club. So unfair. Why? Because when Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos decided to showcase his body, he wasn’t reprimanded by anyone. Damn these double-standards. We’re just saying, if these girls want to get naked to promote softball, then by golly they should be allowed to. Right fellas? Here’s the scoop from Terra:

The girls posed nude for Interviú magazine. They did it in protest of the bad training conditions at their club, despite being the premier female softball club in Spain…The girls now plan to form their own team in order to continue participating in the big leagues of softball in Spain.

So it’s crazy news to us that they play softball in Spain, but even crazier news that a country infatuated with skewering live bulls for pleasure, won’t indulge in a little soft(ball) porn.
