David Beckham took some time off from his rigorous training schedule to salute Ronaldo basher Pele with an award at a Harlem Youth soccer charity event in New York last night. Beckham, looking rather cheerful, dismissed claims from reporters that he was unhappy in Los Angeles and blah blah blah, we know deep down he wants to expose his bare chest in declaration of living the vida loca in Los Angeles. He then decided to tell reporters how happy he was to be presenting an award to Pele.

“For me to be here to present this to the greatest sportsmen of all time, I feel particularly honored,” the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder told reporters. “This absolutely is a highlight moment for me.”

We thought it was Pele receiving the award. Anyway, the two actually look wonderful together, and by wonderful we mean insurmountably creepy. Get a room fellas, and let there be no surfacing of a tape.
