If you hadn’t noticed, SI’s Vault is open for article reaping. We’ve been perusing their stash and have come across numerous classic covers. Unfortunately, there isn’t much dedicated to soccer. It keeps our searches short (which we love), but still, we were hoping for a lot more. Today’s classic cover is of Diego Maradona. He’s named the “King Of Soccer,” leading us to believe that his assertion that he is, in fact, the king of soccer may have some validity after all. We just gagged a bit.
