Spurs boss Juande Ramos insists upon a diet which involves no sauces, no fruit juice, no sugar, plenty of exercise - and plenty of time on the toilet. You could say it’s his trump card.
And despite the club being able to sniff the sweet smell of success in the Carling Cup recently, according to World Soccer magazine, Spurs stars are complaining of the stink caused by the flatulence that has resulted from manager Ramos’ insistence on the players’ healthy eating.
We don’t know about you, but when we’re hitting the weights at our local YMCA, weight-lifters flatulence is totally normal. Maybe this is exactly what Tottenham needs to break the spell of mediocrity. Just let the fans know there’s going to be an extra sweet smell of victory after every win.
