Frank Ribery Is The Boss Of France, Says Frank Ribery

When everyone says you’re possibly the successor to the greatest player that ever lived, then you might as well endorse it yourself like a boastful, conceited bastard. Frank Ribery won’t deny his greatness. And if people can’t live with that then they should be straddled by their limbs over the Siene and left to rot. Did Louis XIV just enter our body? Ewww.

“People repeat I am France’s boss now. But I cannot affirm it. “But when I am with France I feel much better on and off the pitch.
“I have more responsibilities. I feel as one of the bosses.

“I do not like to say: “I am the boss, I am the best”. It is not me.

“Many people tell me I am Zinedine Zidane’s successor. That is true: thanks to my game, my positions and my qualities.”

Sticking to the notion that humans are all walking contradictions, a resounding “WTF did he just say” echoes through our tenement walls. The guy proved throughout the 2006 World Cup that he’s a force to be reckoned with, but we’ve got three words for him: World Cup title. Until then, dust the compliments off your shoulder, strap on the boots and pummel the hell out of Italy each and every time you face them. Please. For all of us.
