





When it comes to modesty, athletes are sometimes the least to display it. So it’s no surprise Juventude soccer player Thiago decided it was fine to rush towards opposing Gremio fans this weekend, in their stadium, and raise a finger to his mouth insinuating they should shut the hell up because their home team was now down 3-0. Gremio players, incensed with rage, confronted Thiago and tossed him around to teach him a lesson.
Furious Gremio players, including several reserves who got off the team bench, ran over and pushed and kicked him before Juventude players joined the melee.Eventually, Thiago was sent off along with Gremio’s Tadeu.
Jonas pulled one back for Gremio but, with bad feeling still bubbling under the surface, he was sent off for kicking Juventude’s Hercules three minutes later after initially trying to knock him over with a two-footed lunging tackle.
Obviously Thiago didn’t get around to thinking about the consequences as you can see starting at the 36 second mark:
