Manchester United’s Patrice Evra threw blows with Chelsea staffers after Manchester’s defeat against the Blues leveled the tables in the English Premier League. The scuffle would be dismissed as nothing more than some post-game entertainment because we’ve really seen a lot worse than this, but The Sun reports racial slurs from the Chelsea staffer, seen attempting to caress Patrice’s face, may have instigated the fight. Chelsea, of course, said, “Fuck that.”
Chelsea reacted furiously yesterday when it was suggested Patrice Evra had been racially abused during the mass brawl that broke out as United warmed down on the pitch after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat.Chief executive Peter Kenyon instantly refuted the claim and even contacted senior United officials to see if they had evidence.
Chelsea also interviewed every member of their staff but found no proof of racist behaviour.
United agreed the claims were unfounded — even Evra distanced himself from the allegation — but the club is now facing severe punishment for the shameful events that blackened Saturday’s 2-1 defeat.
We’re going out on a limb that Sir Alex Ferguson started all of this somehow. Maybe he’s the one who threw out the racial slur that no one can remember. Throwing your voice isn’t as difficult as you may think. Video of the incident below.
