Ronaldinho Transferred To Where Exactly?

The internets abuzzin with news that Barcelona talisman Ronaldinho gazing towards Italy like a Spring breaker from the States. Inter Milan were considered the front-runners for about a week now, but news updates turned up reports that AC Milan have officially agreed to a transfer fee. You know what? We don’t believe the internets until we see it on Setanta or our uncle calls us frantically to say, “Screw Ronaldinho. It’s Gio’s team now!” So what’s the feed?

  • CalcioAmericato tells us that Ronaldinho’s agent/brother Roberto de Assis is like, “We’ll see what happens with [AC Milan President] Moretti…” and shit. You know what’s going to happen? Kaka. He’s going to call up El Gaucho and tell him “Eetz a partay in Eetaly” and all this hype, but someone needs to grab Ronaldinho and recite three words: No Champions League!
  • AFP incite that an agreement is signed, sealed and delivered by Moretti, Barcelona and Ronaldinho’s agent/brother/dude.
We have a deal in principle with the player, said Galliani. We were allowed to speak to the player by Barcelona and now we are looking to come to an agreement with Barca.
Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard says, “Go. Now.”
  • AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf declared today that if Ronaldinho arrives in the San Siro, then he needs to make it clear that the #10 isn’t transferring as well. We blame this pre-drama to Italian soccer in general.
  • Yet, of course, there is a team as trite as a sunny day in Los Angeles that has been somehow, in some damned way, associated to Ronaldinho’s future: Real Madrid. The thought of another Luis Figo-esque drama unfolding before our eyes is intriguing, but let’s just not go there. Real Madrid are already like the celebrity demi-whore of the soccer world, aren’t they?

You think Ronaldinho will end in AC Milan? Or Chelsea, Liverpool FC, Inter Milan…?
