The biggest knock on Albert Pujols entering the season was that his injured elbow would cause him to lose some of the pop off his bat. Well, if you ask the Padres’ pitcher Chris Young his catcher Josh Bard, that’s not the case. Young caught the business end of a line drive off the face during last night’s game and Bard would end up getting his leg swept Cobra Kai-style when the Cardinal came home to score during the same drive. The question is, did Pujols pray for Bard like he did for Young when he got into the clubhouse over a cup of Gatorade? Video after the jump.
