A great number of Machochip readers voted, overwhelmingly, for Joe Simpson to be named the “Creepiest Dad” in the whole entire world! Well, next to Woody Allen. We didn’t get he could heighten his status, but there’s word we can place another ribbon on his title as speculation circulates around the gossipsphere that Joe Simpson is the reason Tony Romo wants to get the hell out of Jessica Simpson’s panties.

Yet, the Romo pal — part of the posse that hung with the pro-baller during his hard partying in Chicago last weekend (including his off-key singing at Wrigley Field during the seventh inning stretch) — quotes Romo as saying he and Simpson ”are definitely over.” The Cowboy apparently explained he had ”really had it” with being a constant target of the paparazzi and the celebrity press in general, and feels this particular romantic relationship was distracting him from his football career. In addition, Romo’s friend said the talented QB has been put off by the intrusive style of Joe Simpson, who’s been ”not only telling Jessica every move to make, but now has begun to offer unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica.”

It probably went something like:

“Hey Tony.”
“Sup Papa Joe.”
“Jessica looks fine today, doesn’t she?”
“Excuse me?”
“You know. That dress clings to her nicely. Shows off her shape. I taught her that.”
“What? Taught her what?”
“How to utilize her tits for attention. Her mom was as flat as a board so she new shit. But I taught her how to get those double-D’s rumbling around like two puppies under a pillow.”
“WTF? Dude. That’s your daughter.”
“Yeah. Life’s good man. How’s the football thing? If that doesn’t work out, you should get some breast implants. Then we’ll chat. /Winks.”
