The First Rule Of Hipster Fight Club Is You Don't... Pull On Each Other's White Belts

Be it far from us to judge other people’s fighting style. But when two hipsters start duking it out in the middle of New York’s Union Square, you just have to expect some commentary. Of course being New York, those words aren’t “Oh my God, these two guys are fighting in the middle of the street,” but “Pick up your right!” And that’s from the grannies.

“All kinds of people: old people, moms with strollers, skateboarding teens, foreign tourists throwing Euros around… A number of shirtless, scraped-up men paced the perimeter of the circle, alternately refereeing and answering questions. The rules were simple: find a partner, get in the ring. No face shots, tapping out ends the fight. No settling scores, just fighting for the fun of fighting.”

Yeah, if you think these guys are fighting for the glory of it and not because they got shut out from the Panda Bear concert, you’re sorely mistaken. The video’s below and it includes the greatest cameo entrance since Kevin Spacey in Seven.
(yes, we’re talking about the guy in the rolling chair)

I would suggest a wedgie to end the fight, but that would just make their pants fit normally.

Was that some Spock Rock-inspired vulcan neck pinch the dude in the white was trying to pull at the end of the video?

@Churrasco: I think that the lowered belts are to prevent them from falling on their asses when they try to kick.
