For the mainstream fan, Guitar Hero is the best time around. Even for some of us geekier gamers who prefer the company of Master Chief in Halo, attempting to kick out an Avenged Sevenfold tune while simultaneously trying to avoid Carpal Tunnel syndrome is a rocking good time. So we wonder how MLS and the Colorado Rapids were the first league to come up with the idea of having a GH tournament to bring in the fans. Is it because in desperation they decided to try anything? Somewhere we hear a bell ringing.
Do you rock out at home in front of a mirror? Find yourself singing at the top of your lungs along with the radio while driving? Are you in your own mind Colorado’s ultimate Guitar Hero?
Well now’s your chance to prove it in front a stadium full of thousands of people!
Just like a real rocker… except much, much dorkier. Kinda like Beck.
Each contestant will get one shot to impress the contest’s judges, who will rate the competitors based on their appearance, theatricality, and points scored. Each contestant will get the chance to try their best at one song selected by the judges.
Players will also be able to warm up their skills in the Comcast mobile TV truck outside before taking to the stage in the Cantina.
Hm, will they let little kids into the Cantina? This is Guitar Hero and Colorado we’re talking about after all…
