Ben Heck has a sterling reputation for creating some of the best video game mods out there, but unfortunately very few of them ever get released commercially. We’re happy to report that this mod, the Access Controller, will in fact see the light of day. The controller is designed for one-handed play. That means people who can only use one hand, either because of a disability or because, say, their other hand is “busy,” can still get their gaming on.
The Access Controller, which is wireless, works with the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PCs. At $129, it’s more than double the price of the standard PS3 controller, but a portion of all proceeds goes to Children’s Hospital and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. So at the very least all that cash you drop on video games will go to a good cause. Stand up and be recognized, good samaritans!
