We thought German and Polish relations were strong these days, but a Polish newspaper called the Super Express wanted to jettison that notion by profiling German soccer coach Joachim Low and German captain Michael Ballack and captioning them both decapitated on the front page of their paper. Dude, you can’t show the enemy’s elite decapitated just because German snausages are a bit tastier than Polish snausages. Yay for weird Eastern European insults.
A spokesman said: “We are aware of the pictures. It’s not something we should condone, people should be talking about the football. “There is a healthy rivalry but there is a limit. We are hopeful the talking will be done on the pitch.”
There is definitely a healthy type of rivalry when it comes to European soccer.

I thought Germans were the cannibalistic ones.
