“Nappy-headed hoe” hating shock jock Don Imus is at it again with his glaring racism and prejudicial comments. During a taping yesterday morning, Imus weighed in on Adam “Pacman” Jones’ decision to drop his nickname in a Kobe-esque maneuver to revitalize his image as a civil citizen.
The Imus controversy erupted Monday morning when sportscaster Warner Wolf told Imus that Jones wanted to swap monikers.“He’s been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005,” Wolf said.
“What color is he?” Imus asked.
“He’s African-American,” Wolf responded. “Well, there you go,” Imus said. “Now we know.”
Imus has since responded by citing that his tone was sarcastic, and he went as so far as stating that his co-hosts are black, which means he couldn’t have meant anything bad by his comments. Kinda sounds like the character on “Seinfeld” who converts to Judaism for the Jew jokes. You be the judge. Audio below.
