Russia’s defense was paltry at best and non-existent at worst. Unlike the Germans and Turks providing us with exciting soccer (even though we missed half of it due to a blackout), the Russians denied us an encore of their fierce, attack-minded style illustrated during their match against the Dutch. This flick is pretty, but leaving a flimsy line open for an advantageous striker means you suck at holding a line. Really nice flick, though.
