The 2008 European Championships start this weekend, and the English soccer team has left a gaping hole on the roster of teams not making the trip to Austria and Switzerland. But looking at these pictures of English forward Peter Crouch hanging out with his model girlfriend Abbey Clancy, it looks like he’d rather be in the Caribbean anyway.

Crouch certainly doesn’t look as if he’s upset at missing one of the biggest dates in the footballing calender, and seemed more than happy to put his feet - and his very long legs - up on the sun lounger situated right on the beach. The view must have helped - as girlfriend Abbey stood in front of him dressed in a little black bikini.

But the modest model, who has dated the Liverpool and England striker for two years, says his body puts hers to shame.

Maybe it’s our penises, but we’re going to disagree.
