Riot Police Sub In For Nautico V Botafogo Match

Because there really isn’t enough violence on Machochip today, we thought a new episode of Soccer Violence is exactly what you need on this Tuesday afternoon. Botafogo defender Andre Luis (pictured giving the bird) was shown a second yellow card after tackling a Nautico player from behind. Tempers flared, the Nautico guy did somersaults while holding his ankle and Andre Luis decided to kick a water bottle into the stands and flip-off Nautico fans before he took a seat. Bad. Move. Riot police stormed the pitch and Luis was arrested for inciting a riot. Frankly, the dude rolling around after he got hit was the worst catastrophe of it all. Video after the jump.

There’s nothing like a plate of soccer violence to brighten my day.
