Sir Alex Ferguson Is About To Kick A Boot Towards Cristiano Ronaldo's Head

The telenovela that is Cristiano Ronaldo’s career has taken an interesting turn. Daily Mail reports that Sir Alex Ferguson has been banned by Ronaldo from visiting him at Portugal’s training camps in Switzerland. Speculation is rampant that Real Madrid are closing on a possible $100 million transfer fee, and Ferguson is shaking in his loafers, trying to convince his prize to stay at Manchester United until his contract expires. You know what we want? Some more Nereida Gallardo, of course. That’s probably all we care about these days.

Ferguson was willing to cut short his holiday in France to attempt to convince his star player to stay at Old Trafford and even had the blessing of Luiz Felipe Scolari, the Portugal coach, should the winger agree. But Ronaldo reportedly told his team-mates that Ferguson is not welcome, a move that will doubtless place further strain on their relationship.

And we’d be similarly cautious as well. With that old man, you never know when he’s going to kick a boot towards your head. Face it, Fergie. Ronaldo is going for the cash.
