Lawsuits are now an American pastime, but the most zealous sports fanatic in the US wouldn’t dare to wage a legislative war against the owner of a major sports franchise. Yet, who would have the audacity to do such a thing? A CSKA Sofia fan has filed suit against Alexandar Tomov because, well, his damn team caused him mental torment!
A fan of cash-strapped Bulgarian champions CSKA Sofia is suing former-club president Alexandar Tomov for almost £125,000 for causing him “immaterial damages and mental torment”.
The claimant, Yavor Bluskov, indicated that he has found it difficult to accept the club’s exclusion from the Champions League last month and that he is heart-broken as a result. He warned: “I’ll chase him (Tomov) until he pays me for the mental torment,”
If a Yankees fan has ever thought about sending a subpoena to the Steinbrenner’s office because there’s been—how many is it now?—eight years of non-World Series participation from their team, then this may be the most opportune time to do so. Oh, and Ned Colletti is going to hear from our fucking lawyers soon, too.

I think fans of both the AL and ESPECIALLY NL West (minus the Angels) should look into this.
And people wonder why there’s an “East Coast bias”?
