Even though Duke Nukem Forever has been in development since many of us here were still in elementary school, there’s good news for fans of the womanizing, trash-talking Mr. Nukem. Leaked shots of Duke Nukem 3D for Xbox Live Arcade have surfaced, with one particularly interesting nugget of information.

If you look at the screen shot below, you’ll see an achievement for completing a level in co-op mode. Now, these screens could well be more fake than a pair of Hollywood tetas, but it does lead us to believe that co-op could be making its way into the game. That would rock, as you might guess.

The Duke-on-XBLA rumor has been around since January, so this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about it.

If you’ve never played the game, imagine Stone Cold Steve Austin circa 1998 with a shotgun fighting aliens, and you’ve got a pretty decent idea of what to expect.
