If there was ever a time to sell that extra kidney you’ve got just taking up room in your body, this is it. EA, the makers of the FIFA 09, have decided to make the version on each platform a different experience. That means seven incarnations of the game will be released, and in all of them will feature a skinny Ronaldinho like the one pictured here, not the current one pictured here. Will the wonders of video gaming ever cease?

…EA Sports’ FIFA Soccer 09 might get a “game mode” exclusive to the PlayStation 3, and now an announcement confirms “platform-specific” experiences for each version of the game, which is releasing on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PS2, DS and PSP.

The Wii-specific “All Play” version, for example, features 11 versus 11 simulation or an 8-on-8 “arcade action” mode with Mii versions of soccer stars.The PC version, on the other hand, seems more geared for users of “hi-spec gaming PCs.”

Which can only mean one thing—the sexual escapades that comes with going on holiday as a soccer star. Awesome, now the only thing that separates us from living like Cristiano Ronaldo are a few gigs of RAM… and his abs… and that killer faux-hawk… and 48 EPL goals last year…
