Real Madrid’s Julio Baptista didn’t get much playing time under Fabio Capello because we’re guessing Fabio hates Brazilians. (Check Robinho’s stats too. His numbers totally dipped during Capello’s sole season at Real.) But once current coach Bernd Schuster stepped in, his playing time skyrocketed. Thus, events like this blossomed for all to see. We’ve always considered Julio Baptista to be a really cool player to watch because he’s a bully on the pitch and he never rolls around in agony when he’s drop-kicked by an Italian. Also, he scores goals like this. AS Roma are rumored to be receiving his services soon and that’s a shame because we hate watching Italian soccer.
