This is reminiscent of last Monday’s goal in which a goalkeeper miscalculated the springboard action of the grass in front of him, only to see the ball surge over his head and into the back of the net. The only difference here is that the opposing goalie is the recipient of praise. Too bad he didn’t charge outside of his area, with arms wide open, kissing his beloved jersey in celebration. That would have been a great sight.
