You know, there’s more to the Nintendo Wii than getting your girl to play Wii Fit, then putting the video on the Internet for all of us to see. (Not that we’re complaining, obviosuly—keep ‘em coming!) For example, Nintendo and FujiFilm have launched a service in Japan that lets you order prints of digital photos you have stored on your Wii. Simply load up an SD card with the photos you want printed and delivered, press a couple of buttons, and you’re off. Very nifty.
Not only can you buy regular prints, but you can also order business cards with your Mii on them. For casual Fridays, right?
The service is pretty cheap, too, with prints starting at just $0.28 per. Even in this dreadful economy that’s affordable.
Oh, and just a heads up to Mac users. If you have iPhoto 08, you can do the same thing, excpet Apple uses Kodak printing. Just pick the photos you want from iPhoto, click the “order prints” button on the lower right, and off you go. A quick and easy way to decorate your dorm room or apartment.
