Readers of Footy-boots.com have awarded René Higuita the coveted prize of “Greatest Soccer Trick Of All Time.” Higuita beat out Ronaldinho’s Flick Flack move and Cristiano Ronaldo’s crossovers. If you’ve never seen Higuita’s scorpion save then be mesmerized after the jump. If you have seen it, then we’re sure you won’t mind watching a stroke of brilliance again.

We always thought this video was some sort of hoax because it’s almost to crazy to believe. But during a 1995 friendly between Colombia and England at Wembley Stadium, Mr. Higuita decided to have a little fun and block a kick from behind with his legs.
