WNBA Brawl Will Likely Raise Ratings
There were four seconds left on the regulation clock during the Los Angeles Sparks V Detroit Shock game last night and the Los Angeles Sparks were at the free-throw line. The shot was taken and then all hell broke loose when Sparks’ rookie Candace Parker became entangled with Detroit Shock’s Plenette Pierson and Pierson wasn’t going to have any of it. Things got worse when Detroit assistant coach Rick Mahorn came onto the floor to keep the peace, but inadvertently knocked Lisa Leslie to the floor. Los Angeles player DeLisha Milton-Jones came to the rescue and clobbered Rick over the shoulder. Scrappers! The bright-side is that more people will certainly watch now that there’s dunking and brawling. Video of the fight after the jump.

Doesn’t a catfight among these girls sort of fall in the same vein as lesbian porn? Like, its fine as long as its too hot girls, but if it were actual lesbians, no one would watch?
