You may not know this, but there was, once upon a time, plans for a movie based on Halo. Then the movie got caught up in development hell (rumors were that no studio wanted to touch the script because it was so bad), and we haven’t heard of anything since.

Until now! The first concept artwork for a possible new movie that’s currently titled Halo: Fall of Reach has made its way to the Internet.

The movie, if it ever actually gets made, is in the earliest stages of production. The script has been written (by the same guy who wrote the first one), but scripts are written every day in Hollywood and never get made into movies.

The art presumably shows Master Chief and several other marines flying through space.

Now, we all know how terrible movies based on video games tend to be, so let’s not get our hopes too high for this.
