Every telenovela has to end some time. That’s right, they don’t go on forever like “Days Of Our Lives.” They always end. Some end badly and some end triumphantly, leaving onlookers pumping their fist and screaming “orale!” at their television. Unfortunately, the Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid saga ended abruptly without any real denoument. Seriously, a press conference with him waving a little Manchester United flag would have sufficed. Instead, we got two sentences.
Ronaldo said: ‘[Sir Alex] Ferguson heard my reasons, I heard his and indeed we have an agreement that the best for both parties would be if I stay. ‘Therefore, I can confirm that next season I will play in Manchester United.’
Let us all concentrate on the 40 goals he’ll score this year and all 40 girls he’ll, well, you know. Oddly enough, the press in the Czech Republic are still publishing reports that Ronaldo will never return to Manchester United. Who the hell do we believe?

All of that raucous for this? Really? What happened to being the richest player in the world! I guess his ego can take a few shots.
