As Cristiano Ronaldo well knows, ankles are important for a lot of things like scoring goals and running away from Lauren Conrad. So with his post-ankle surgery ready to get tested this weekend by Chelsea (in his first EPL matchup of the year!), he knows he’s going to get the brunt of the attention as Chelsea keys in on him to get into his head. But CR7 is too cool for that kind of psychological warfare—he won’t let them get him off the rag (yes, you read that right).

I know that the attempts to intimidate me on the pitch will start again immediately—but everyone finds sooner or later that it is difficult to make me lose my rag.

I’ll be booted again but I will not kick out when it happens. I’m tough and, again, it’s all just part of the spectacle. I’ll do my damage as usual by paying them all back with my goals.

Haha, yeah… about that. It’s going to be real hard when you’ve got 11 guys repeatedly “going for the ball” and ending up spiking you in the ankles. But when you’re the king, you’ve gotta expect that. As the old saying goes, “Heavy is the head that wears the crown,” and it makes maneuvering away from the likes of Ashley Cole (or even Lauren Conrad) hard.
