Goal Of The Day: Jonny Magallon Doesn't Need A Bounce.
Jonny Magallon received a perfect volley from Andres Guardado and did what most soccer players want to accomplish if they don’t whiff: he nailed the ball on the fly and powered the balon into the back of the net. Mexico was already up 2-0, but it didn’t stop the team, and Magallon, to cheer like they had just won the World Cup. Pocho este es for ju, amigo.

Note three points:
1) The mildly Chritiano Ronaldo-esque style of Magallon’s celebration. I’m not sure whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing. But the joy on Rafa Marquez’s face was well, contagious.
2) Even Esven Goran was all “OH DAYUM” after that little piece of work.
3) Guardado’s free kick earlier in the game was also a gem….
