We had no idea Russians mixed anything with their vodka. We always imagined them swigging from the bottle, or if you prefer a more civilized approach, pouring shot after endless shot and sipping the crystal clear liquor until the bottle runs dry. Little did we know they partook in the Red Bull/vodka concoction. And yes. This shocks us more than hearing reports tht a Russian high-jumper by the name of Ivan Ukhov arrived at his Lausanne Grand Prix competition more pissed than a Rosarito spring breaker. From Fan IQ:

The rest of us would drink Red Bull under competition, but a Swedish track official says one competitor drank the Red Bull with vodka. … Russian high jumper Ivan Ukhov is one of the top jumpers in the world , but he appeared drunk during the entire competition.

There’s no other proof, but this video kind of explains the situation.
