• MLB: Oh man, it can’t be happening to poor Mets fans again…. can it? Last year, New York blew a 3.5-game lead over the last seventeen games. They’re playing home games against the Cubs in a stadium that’s actually closer to Chicago; their homes back in Houston are probably in disrepair, not to mention their family in disarray; and in the last two games, they were no hit by the Cubs over 16 innings when Ted Lilly carried a no-hitter into the seventh yesterday until Mark Loretta saved the day.
